We know it's hard not to play some leaks a bunch of tools release because they have nothing better to do, so we wanted to find a way to thank everyone for their continued support and participation in our community, and the restraint you've all had by not playing the leaks.
Old World Blues is a mod for Hearts of Iron IV which transports the World War II grand strategy game hundreds of years forward into the post-apocalyptic American west coast of the Fallout series. Players select a faction in the year 2275 and attempt to survive and thrive in the west coast wasteland.
We originally planned this as a small demo for several youtubers and other press, but have decided to turn this into a general release for everyone. We are preparing a demo of TNO!
Old World Blues Mod Wiki
The New Order: Old World Blues (named after the diary, not the mod) is a version of the mod featuring the completed Southern Urals in Russia. Play as the noble Ural Guard, the troubled communes of Orenburg, the foul Dirlewanger Brigade or the conniving Lysenko and destroy your enemies! The demo will feature these four nations completely five years+ playable, for the duration of their primary trees. Nations outside of the area will not be featured, but world events will change the map outside of the area dynamically and give you a hint at what there is to come :)
We are hoping to release it sometime within the next week, but I will keep everyone updated on our progress as we go towards release. Thank you all for supporting us so far, and I hope you enjoy the demo!
